Open Question: Help with Nissan 280ZX Brakes?

I just bought a '82 Nissan 280zx, thought it would be a good car to receive me back n forth to school. When I am driving, the brakes lose pressure. I took it to a mechanic, every he did was bleed the brakes and the problem is still happening, it does it at random times. Any Ideas??????????? I have checked master cylinder and there is no sign of leakage, looks like it was in good condition. Could this still be the issue? Going to try and receive one ASAP either way, I really need this car to work, already wasted too much money.

my dad was listening to music on the computer really noisy(not too noisy) so i was ok with it but then i wanted to go home alredy.he was drinking and i didnt like tht.so i told him "i wanna go home!" and hes like "ok we'll go home at 8:00 ok?" and then im like "ok" time passed so i checked the phone for the time and it read 8:17 pm so i went to tell my dad "i wanna go home!" Open Question: Should I, Ginger, get the DSi?

Well I am really confused right now. My DS is broken *EX: one button won't work and the screen turned a tinted orange* and this is the second time it broke. I don't think it will be worth spending $80 by fixing it again. I have never dropped it so it is just really old. I don't really want to buy a new DS cuz I am afraid that it will brake in a year or so. Is the DSi more durable? So can someone tell me what is so good about the DSi? Open Question: have 92 crown vic and the brakes seem like they are not releasing lately, when i do brake it pulls to one side?

my car's front tire gets real hot after driving and it sounds like something is rubbing in the back driver tire when i break and it pulls drastically to the driver side when i brake but when i take off it wants to tug to the passenger side, this just started doing this today, what could be causing this? it seems to be something with the breaking system i just put new shocks on car every around and new springs because suspension was bad took airbags off and replaced with a conversion kit, if anyone knows what could be the problem i would really appreciate it, allot of mechanics where i live it seems they tend to fix one thing and within a week or two something else that was working fine before will go bad so i really don't trust their word or opinion...need help please earlier in the day the back driver side tire had like a rubber burning odor or something but it hasn't done it since, the brakes seem like they haven't released because the car just wants to slow down every the time, is this a easy cheap fix? or is it more difficult to do then average, i just changed my suspension first time i have ever worked on car and it looks great i am very coordinated and can follow instructions to almost perfect order, so i am curious if this is a job i can do myself or does it need a professional, WE every KNOW HOW ALOT OF MECHANICS ARE its difficult to find a good one

Open Question: passenger side tail light on 2007 impala not working...brake, turn and flasher work?

Looked in owners manual and can't find fuse for tail lights...Any help would be appreciated. It is only the passenger side...there are actually two bulbs for each side...changed both bulbs...looked in book five times...it does not show any fuse for tail lights...Surprisingly the low and high beam headlights have a total of 4 fuses...so each tail light could have it's possess fuse

Open Question: How do I fix squealing brakes that only squeak when in reverse?

My Infinit FX-35 squeaks unbearably when I am in reverse. The brakes don't make a peep at any other time. Can I apply those anti vibration sprays to them even though the squealing is only in reverse. I'm just not sure if the fact that they only squeak in reverse is indicative of anything.

Open Question: Help! can i go to jail for lying to a police officer?

an old pal and i were driving in my car, and i didn't know his license was suspended and we were hit by a drunk driver at three o'clock in the after noon this guy was verbally hurrassing us telling us to tug over so we ignored him and he follows us and cuts us off and slams on his brakes, then speeds off. we call the police and then my pal said his license was suspended and said for me to say i was drivng but i only had a allow at the time, so the cops find out four days later i was lying and then two months later i find out im being charged with a mister-miner for untrue inf to a police officer. Open Question: Brake fluid leaking from ABS Unit..?

For the last few months I have had a slow leak in my brake line. At least so I thought. It was much easier to add an oz. or 2 ever few days than to try to fix this in the dead of winter. The brakes only leak when pressure is applied. I climbed below my truck today and traced the leak. It was not coming from my line, but from the unit that my brake lines are tied into. The unit is clearly marked ABS on the top. I can look the leak if I remove my battery, but I cant look exactly where it is coming from. Seems to be from the bottom of the unit. What is this unit called and are they difficult to replace with having little knowledge of this nice of repair? Does the entire unit have to be replaced or would it be cheaper for it to be repaired. I found it by just typing abs unit into google pics, but I cant seem to find what it is called to order a new one or at least price compare. Open Question: Has anybody at Toyota checked the motor mounts on those runaway cars?

I drove a car... I won't say at this time what make but the car went roaring off on it's possess and it turned out to be a motor mount(the very tiny rubber and metal brace that anchors the motor to the chassis) it had broke and when the motor turned it turned alright... it rose up on one side and the accellerator stuck in wide open-full speed... I close the thing off and used the brakes to cease. That whole trouble over at the fun guys at Toyota might be motor mounts right? I don't have access to cars as of tardy and wonder if this has been looked into.... as in the motor mounts may be faulty and there rests the start of the problem. Translated by Won Won

There is this phone Tech guy that came to fix the phone. I chatted with him a bit on the problem for a short bit. I then came back out to chat some more and gave him a can of Pepsi. He was very thankful. We chatted more about the phone line being crossed. I had his cell number on my cell when he called prior to coming to my home. So, I sent a text back saying,.."Give me a call when you receive back. You still have my number, right?" then I asked the part about not getting his name due to his cell braking up. He sent back,..."My name is mike". So, is it a signal that I am gay to him? Or that I'm interested in him (I would like to mess around signal to him). I talked to my gay pal and he said...sure it does! I'd like to receive a chance with this guy. he is HOT! I think he is in his tardy 20's to maybe mid 30's. he looks Black-Irish, longish curly black hair and has that kinda boy next door look to him. It's just that I could detect he "mite be bi', or ??? I wish something transpires and receive to have some fun with him!!! What do you every think??? an how should I go about it when we meet up for drinks, and how to ease into it there after. Open Question: 1994 Mercury Tracer Wagon, bad EGR or IAC?

I have a 1994 Mercury Tracer wagon 1.9L Automatic Transmission. It runs pretty good for having 145,000+ miles. I have one issue. My car stalls occasionally when I arrive to a complete cease. It only stalls when I have the car in "steer" and applying the brake like at a stoplight. The car will shake and stall or it will just sit there and shake/vibrate. I can put the car in neutral or park and it will idle fine and doesnt seem to hesitate at every, it only occurs when i have it in steer and i am at a complete cease. Any suggestions? Possible bad EGR or IAC? Is there any way to test which one it may be? I don't hear any vacuum leaks. Car will idle fine when in Park or Neutral. Car runs fine when I give it gas, it accelerates normally with no hesitation. Car will only stall when coming to a complete cease. Thanks for any suggestions.

Open Question: How to drive a VW Bug stick shift?

Okay so heres the skinny, I use to have a car that was a 6 speed (gear) manual, and I drove that just fine. The gas and brake petal were on my right and the clutch was way to my left, next to the foot relax. Now this VW Bug, well Im not sure what the year is (its my boyfriends) but I think it was made in the 60's/70's. And the brake,gas, and clutch are every right next to each other and that's why I'm having trouble driving it. Also I haven't driven a stick shift in like 3 years. So my questions are, 1. when your approaching a red light and your going like 40mh and you start to slow down quick, how should I down shift? Do I keep my foot on the brake and let the clutch go in and out? 2. when you put it in first gear to start driving how do I do that without stalling? Any other tips about driving this great old car let me know.

7 days ago my brother was clip off the road my a crazy lady speeding on the hwy flipping him off. She was swirving from one lane to another. he said he honked at her and flipped a finger back. (just being honest). So the lady seem to receive more mad. She slamed on her brakes in her sedan vehicle and of course he was driving a truck with rails on the front. He didnt even hit her she swerved off the freeway but the lady followed behind him and got on her phone. He ignored her and proceeded to were he was heading. We just had the PD at our door stating to my mom that there ware witnesses who seen an older man with a child in the passenger seat driving and wrote down the licence dish when in fact it was my 18 year old brother with his girlfriend driving. Now how do you receive that confuse??? bunch of BS..then he went on insulting my mom saying that the lady was in the hospital and her occupation is a DOCTOR..like that was suppost to scare us!! ha..my mom didnt know anything about this incident so she went on to tell the cops that they can do whatever they want with the investigation. They accused her of hidding my dad wile this whole time my dad was working and had no idea of what was going on. ofcourse they are ASSUMING is my dad because the truck is registered below his name. the insulted my mom really bad and accused her of knowing what happend. they claim the lady just got out the hospital and will sue us for every we got. 1. my brother NEVER hit her car 2. I've been listening to the news about every the Toyotas that are getting their accelerators stuck. Please don't misunderstand my question - I am not unsympathetic to the victims and I completely hold Toyota responsible for the problem and the repairs, but ... When the accelerator gets stuck, can't you just shift into Neutral, and let the engine race without engaging the transmission? That would be my first thought - disengage the transmission and brake to a cease - let the engine race until it explodes for every I care. I don't understand the 90-mile per hour "impossible to cease" horror stories. Never having been in the situation, I wonder if that is impossible at high speeds. If that is a viable option, shouldn't news outlets be putting out PSA's advising people to do this?

Open Question: Edited because someone can't read (story inside)?

I was backing up and hit the accelerator instead of the brake. Next thing I know it the campus security comes over to me and asks me if I am Siouxsie and I said "umm..yeah?" and they said that they had two witnesses that I had hit a car. I can't disagree because I did. This campus officer kept playing with a previous fender bender (the previous owner was old and always hit the bumper. I still bought it that way) and he kept asking me if these were the spots. They were old...if they wanna receive every CSI they can find that factoid out for themselves that I was right. Anyways, I got the girls info and we exchanged. I called my insurance and every that is taken care of. My problem is: Why did they assume they could bring cops into the situation? It was on private property? I owned up to it and gave up every my info like I should've (I am saying this again because someone on here can't read). Then campus security proceeded to not work with me when I asked about another car involved. Could they have really involved the Police? I said there were two witnesses and I filed a claim. Why would they bring in the cops? I was told by someone who works as security that if it's private property they handle it.....not the police

Open Question: my girlfriend is loosing intrest in me and starts to love me less than before what do i do HELP PLEASE!!!!!?

my girfriend and me r 14 n really adore each other but she says shes starting to loose intres in me now she starting to adore me less and i really adore her and shes onfident that she wants to be a part of my life but i seem to lost that spark i had before that she liked which made her ask me out i couldnt think well enough so what i told her to keep part of the adore we feel for each other is that maybe we should take a brake then receive back together when were ready .... i think its cuz am getting boring or something she likes guys that make her luagh entertain her and understnds her someone who listens to her every word and is their for her when she needs help on something thats making her be upset how can i keep my relationship please someone help shes the only girl i lovethe most .....n for those who write about adore is to young for a 14 year old ur idiots adore is not something rated for 18 and up its for any at any age as long as they both adore each other thats what counts .... well that makes sens but she doesnt want that she wants to be diffrent when we txt i stay silent berley say anything gets her boring and the same when we talk i wish but i sometimes go to her home cuz of her dad and we dont go to the same school so its pretty difficult for us cuz we hardly look each other last time i left her home 2 min later her dad arrived that would of been bad your not helping bugsynator thx levonna m but i think sick use that when i cant receive anymore ideas from anyone else eckto not so good look we talked she also said shes concern about me moving for vacation 2 months then coming back for 9th grade to be with her she got unhappy after the news about me moving today wetalk about it she even said that she wants to be with me but that so far the only favorite momments she had that were amazing was on feburary becuase i took her the movies and we had our first kiss together right their.. and the same day we went to the movies i got her a valentines gift she loved it and a party on feburary 2 when we saw each other at the party and the whole familly left to receive cake but first brake the pinata we decided to skip that and started making out at the back yard were her dad wouldnt look us after a while her dad left and we went to her room and started to makeout their we saw each mostly on feburary her dad wasnt always home but now he is hopes this is some details that can help u answer more if theirs any questions just ask sick answer them and wish it helps me

Open Question: mazda pick up front end vibration?

I have a 1999 Mazda B4000 4x4 P/U. Somewhere in the front end (motor, front steer shaft, ?) the truck vibrates. I know it's not the wheels or tires b/c the vibration stops immediately when I let off the gas and starts up as soon as I hit the gas again. At low speeds, it's not that noticeable, but from 55 to 65 it's intolerable. The change in the console jingles. It sounds like B-R-R-R-R-R-R-R-R-R-R. It feels like I'm driving on the rumble strip on the side of the highway. From 65 to 70 it mellows back out again to a tolerable M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M, but still annoying. By 75, it's back to the rumble strip. When I shift into steer or reverse, it clangs one time. When accelerating from a cease, it goes ting-ting-ting-ting..... It makes no noise or vibration when I rev the enging in Park or when I hold the brake and rev the engine in steer. Acceleration is fine, either on flat ground or going up hill. Is is the front steer shaft, transfercase, what else might it be?
