Metra adjusts schedule to get students to school on time
Metra, plagued by overcrowding and slow trains on its Union Pacific North Line, has adjusted its schedule to help New Trier High School students receive to class on time. Starting Tuesday, southbound train No. 318 will make stops at Glencoe at 7:49 a.m. and Indian Hill at 7:58 a.m., Metra spokeswoman Meg Reile said. Both stops are used by New Trier students.
